Disclaimer & Social Media Policy.
How to use the information on our website and channels safely, and how we engage on social media. Our content is general information — for advice about your own health, please book an appointment.
Website disclaimer
The information on this website is provided by Tower Bridge Hospital London for general information and educational purposes only. It is intended to help you understand common health topics and the services we offer. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified clinician.
Health information should always be considered in the context of your own circumstances. If you would like advice about your own health, symptoms, medication or treatment, please book an appointment so one of our clinicians can assess you properly.
No clinician–patient relationship
Reading this website, or contacting us through it or through social media, does not create a clinician–patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you register as a patient and are seen by one of our clinicians.
In an emergency
Our website and social media channels are not monitored around the clock and must never be used to seek help in an emergency. If you or someone else is seriously unwell or at risk, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. For urgent but non-emergency concerns when we are closed, call NHS 111. See our Out-of-Hours information for more.
Accuracy of information
We take care to keep our content accurate and up to date, and our clinical information is reviewed by UK-registered clinicians. Even so, medical knowledge changes and we cannot guarantee that every page is complete or current at the moment you read it. Prices, services and availability may also change without notice.
External links
Where we link to other websites, we do so because we believe they may be useful. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any external site, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, design, branding, logos, images and layout — is the property of My Health & Wellbeing Clinics Ltd unless otherwise stated, and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of it without our written permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or harm arising from reliance on information on this website. Nothing in this disclaimer limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for matters that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Social media policy
This section explains how Tower Bridge Hospital London uses social media, what you can expect from us, and how we ask people to engage with our accounts.
Our accounts
We share clinic news, health information and service updates on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. Our channels are managed by the clinic team during normal working hours and are not monitored continuously.
What we will and won’t discuss
We are always happy to point you towards general information or the right part of our website. However, to protect your privacy and confidentiality we will not discuss your care, symptoms, results, appointments or any personal medical details over social media — whether in public comments or direct messages.
If you have a personal or clinical query, please contact the clinic directly by phone or book an appointment rather than messaging us on social media. Please never share personal health information, dates of birth, or contact details in a public comment.
Following, sharing and likes
We may occasionally share, repost or like content from other accounts where it is relevant to our work. This does not mean we endorse that account or everything it posts. Likewise, following or connecting with an account does not imply endorsement.
Being respectful
We welcome open and constructive discussion. We cannot monitor or moderate every comment, but we may hide or remove comments that are off-topic, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, obscene, unlawful, or that share someone’s private information. Where comments are abusive or target our staff or patients, we may block the account and report it to the platform.
Your privacy on social media
Anything you post publicly on a social media platform is governed by that platform’s own privacy terms, not ours. When you contact us directly, we handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy.
Raising a concern or complaint
We do not handle complaints through social media. If you would like to raise a concern about your care or experience, please see our Complaints Policy & Procedure, which explains how to contact us and what happens next. This makes sure your concern is recorded properly and handled confidentially.
Changes to this policy
We may update this disclaimer and social media policy from time to time. The date of the most recent review is shown at the top of this page.
